Goodbye to a Legend
A man who fought for justice, equality, and opportunity his entire life, Rev. Jesse Jackson, has passed away this week. His voice, his speeches, his quotes, his relentless push for economic and racial equity shaped the world.
I’m writing a post about this, as because today, as we mourn his loss, we also witness the erosion of the very progress he championed. Voting rights are under attack, economic inequality is widening, and the backlash against DEI threatens to dismantle decades of hard-won gains. Jackson’s legacy reminds us that the struggle for justice is never over.
Now more than ever, we must honor not only his memory but also that of all those who fight or have fought for it, by redoubling our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table.
Just last week I used one of his quotes in my post: When everyone is included, everyone wins!
Let’s keep this in mind!
