I’m delighted to be a panellist at the Supplier Diversity Day at the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) Festival of Sourcing on the 14th June.
I will be joining the panel to discuss How Corporates have Developed their Supplier Diversity programmes, Imparting their Learnings and Advice. The Panel will cover the difference between UK and US programmes and why it is not suitable to do a lift and shift, how to build supplier programmes and the importance of mentoring suppliers; and how a need for early payment approaches such as Net Now are essential for diverse suppliers.

With me on the panel are Ross Aitken, Global Supplier Diversity @Diageo, Lauren Jones, Chief Procurement Officer @Amazon Fresh and Sian Ellis, Sustainable Procurement Assistant @EY.
Additionally to sharing my view in the paneldiscussion, I will also be moderating a session at the GSA- Global Sourcing Association – Festival of Sourcing around Supplier Inclusion & Diversity interlock with Responsible Sourcing / Social Promise with the following guests:
– Ben Ngobi, Global Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability Lead Accenture
– Rachel Hartley, Director at Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance
– Maria Campbell PIEMA, Vice President of Sustainable Supply Chain Management Goldman Sachs
This panel will take a deep dive on some critical issues to include modern slavery, tier 1 supplier sustainability audits and community impact programmes such as #impactsourcing.
