German LGBTIQ+ Business Chamber, Kettenreaktion – auf dem Weg zur diversen Lieferkette, Symposium, Köln, 24. November 2023

Absolutely thrilled to have had the incredible opportunity to moderate Germany’s first-ever supplier diversity event!

The GGLBC Symposium – Kettenreaktion – auf dem Weg zur diversen Lieferkette, hosted by TÜV Rheinland, on November 24th, 2023, marks a significant milestone in the advancement of supplier diversity and inclusion (SD&I) initiatives in Germany.

The event served as a great kick-off for SD&I in the region, reflecting some global corporate’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within their supply chain. Bayer, Audi, TÜV Rheinland, Accenture and and many more companies’ focus on supplier diversity shows that it has become a fundamental component of successful procurement strategies. Companies are increasingly recognizing the multifaceted benefits of embracing an inclusive supply chain, and increasing business with local and regional small and medium sized businesses.

The event served as a catalyst for further advancements in SD&I, and I’m looking forward to the positive developments that lie ahead.

Btw; the problem with virtual meetings is that you never know how tall a person is. If I had met the panellists physically before, I probably would have worn heels….
