Supplier Diversity Event @Goldman Sachs
It was great to talk about my passion for more inclusive supply chains and share my insights with companies who want to learn more about Supplier Diversity & Inclusion.
Establishing and Growing a Supplier Diversity Program in the UK was the name of the event hosted by Goldman Sachs in London on May 22nd, 2024.

The event was aimed at Goldman Sachs’ suppliers and was designed to give them the opportunity to learn more about Supplier Diversity & Inclusion. There were four panel discussions, one focused on best practices from companies such as BMS and Accenture, where Sara Ahmad and Peter Zerp shared their inputs and where I also provided my insights from my corporate experience, but also from a diverse business side.
One panel discussion was with representatives from advocacy groups such as WEConnect International, Veteran Owned UK, Out Britain and MSDUK. In this, Jerome Flint, Scott Johnson, Matt Dabrowski and Jean Chawapiwa provided their insights and future plans on challenges and collaboration.
Additionally, we heard from Susannah Lawson, founder of ISE Partners, a women owned business, and Sharon Gigli, Head of EMEA Talent Acquisition Program at Magnit, about promoting Supplier Diversity within contingent workforce programs.
But one of the highlights for me was when Goldman Sachs shared, how they prepared well ahead to be able to engage diverse owned businesses for upcoming opportunities and how it ended up in such a great partnership with vPPR Architects.
The event closed with a yummy lunch and lots of opportunities to network. Thanks to Selina McCole, Caroline Alonso, Emma Heywood for organizing & Goldman Sachs for pushing the Supplier Diversity Agenda forward with your suppliers and hosting such an important event.
