VFULAB – “We can do everything – with HEAD, HEART, and AI”
The Verband Frauenunternehmen (VFU), or Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Switzerland, hosts an annual conference called “VFULAB” that has become a highlight in the calendars of many female business owners in Switzerland. The latest VFUlab was at the GDI in Rüschlikon, with the theme “We can do everything – with HEAD, HEART, and AI” on September 5, 2024. The theme demonstrates the association’s commitment to addressing timely and relevant topics for women entrepreneurs. This event is a powerful platform for women entrepreneurs to network, share experiences, and learn from one another.
I had the pleasure of representing WEConnect International, the VFU’s international partner in Switzerland, at this event, which not only focuses on great content but also a lot of networking. The VFU sees networking as active participation that promotes a balanced exchange of give and take.
The VFU Market Place was the perfect place for that. It provided lots of space and time for women entrepreneurs and sponsors to network. For me, sharing information about Supplier Diversity & Inclusion, inclusive supply chains, WEConnect International’s role and how they can help connect women entrepreneurs to global corporates was very empowering. It lead to so many interesting conversations and meeting lots of inspiring women.
It was great to connect and re-connect with Yuliya Romanyuk, Tania Woodhatch, Ursi Diener, Barbara Zimmermann, Lilo Bünger, Doris Pemler, Jeannette Mutzner, Damiana Jil Daffre, Sonja Sutter, Elisabeth Lissy Hug, Judith Tanner, Julian Nacken, Alessandra Bodmer and Corina Stöckli.
