European Supplier Diversity Conference, Paris, September 23-25, 2024
3 days full of ENERGY & EMPOWERMENT for more diversity and inclusion in global supply chains.
What a great conference – congratulations to WEConnect International Europe for hosting this years’ Europe Supplier Diversity Conference in collaboration with EGLCC – The European LGBTIQ Chamber of Commerce OutBritain MSDUK ESDP Disability:IN Dutch New Narrative Lab Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen e.V. (VdU) Telos Social Enterprise UK which brought together over 650 people at Disneyland Paris.

Besides the many insights from corporates, diverse business owners, advocacy representatives and their contribution to more inclusive supply chains, my ✨✨were:
* Edina D. – Attending events for the autistic – her story gave me goosebumps as Edina showed how important it is that not only companies but also society understands neurodiversity
* Sumaria Latif – Products for all – How designing for inclusivity is good for business – Sumaria shared how she became Company Accessibility Leader of Procter & Gamble and supporting them to create more inclusive products
* And the stories from the ELEVATE Mentoring program from Bayer which is very close to my heart as I was part of it from the very beginning as project coordinator
In addition to the many great presentations and speakers, it’s uplifting and motivating to meet so many people I’ve been working with for many years which are still standing in for Supplier Diversity & Inclusion and the many new faces who are engaged and keen to make supply chains more inclusive in Europe and around the globe.
I’m happy to have had the opportunity to moderate a panel with corporate representatives in which I tried to get as many questions answered from the audience to better understand how diverse business owners can get into corporates’ supply chains.

I’m happy to be part of this movement!
I will now need a few more days to process the impressions of this great conference, work on the many follow ups – and to get my voice back! ☺️
