Why To Keep Your Inclusive Sourcing Efforts In 2025

What we are currently experiencing with regard to Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DEI) is quite disturbing. I feel I need to highlight why DEI particularly in the supply chain, is still a competitive advantage and not just a box-ticking exercise.

  • Innovation – diverse suppliers bring fresh perspectives & driving creative solutions
  • Sustainability – diverse suppliers often bring eco-friendly practices and products
  • Economic Empowerment – Working with diverse businesses fosters global economic growth
  • Enhanced Resilience – Inclusive supply chains and diverse owned businesses adapt better to worldwide challenges
  • Market Expansion – Engaging diverse suppliers opens doors to new markets and creates more competition
  • Risk Mitigation – A diverse supplier base reduces dependency on single sources
  • Social Impact – Inclusive sourcing promotes equity and aligns with ESG goals

We know that by maintaining inclusive sourcing practices, companies not only drive innovation and boost resilience but also contribute to a more sustainable, equitable world. That’s why inclusive sourcing practices are still a strategic imperative for long-term success for any company.

What trends are you observing in your organization regarding DEI?
