My Personal Highlights 2024

Despite the current, in some parts difficult, political and economic circumstances, I would like to share some of the positive experiences I have had in 2024. I scrolled through my phone and only then realized how humbled I feel when I look back at 2024. I am deeply grateful for the remarkable people I have had the pleasure of working and spending time with, the stunning places I have been able to visit, and the various opportunities I have had to champion Supplier Diversity and Inclusion across Europe.

It was very hard to decide…. but some of my key highlights were:

• fips Supplier Diversity & Inclusion podcast – I’m thankful for many great guests like Michael Robinson former IBM Global Supplier Diversity Director, Bonnie Finger, Supplier Inclusion & Diversity Leader at BAYER, Lushentha Naidoo, Managing Director of ESDP president and Charlie Wigglesworth, Co-founder of TELOS, and many inspiring diverse business owners.
• Europe Supplier Diversity Conference, Paris (September 23-25): I had the honor of moderating a panel discussion with representatives from major corporations such as ExxonMobil, CBRE, IBM, and Goldman Sachs. We explored how multinationals make sourcing decisions and the importance of integrating diverse business owners into their supply chains.
• Procure Swiss Summit, Sursee (September 17): This was one of the few non Supplier Diversity & Inclusion focussed events which I was attending in 2024. I delivered a keynote address on the significance of Supplier Diversity & Inclusion in Switzerland, emphasizing its impact on both company revenue and social equality. I’m very much looking forward to provide a Seminar organized by Procure.ch on the same topic in April 2025.
• My summer break was one of the highligts too. Traveling across Normandy & Brittany by campervan was an unforgettable experience. Picture of Côte de Granit Rose in Brittany

• Supplier Diversity Event at Goldman Sachs (May 22): My participation in a panel at the Goldman Sachs event “Establishing and Growing a Supplier Diversity Program in the UK”. At the panel, which focused on best practices in Supplier Diversity and Inclusion in the UK, I was able to share my experiences alongside corporate representatives.
• Business Matchmaking Event, Munich (February 29): Leading a panel discussion at this event was an inspiring experience, where corporate representatives and women entrepreneurs shared their best practices and challenges in the realm of Supplier Diversity. This event was also the kickoff of a project which was near to my heart in 2024, BAYER’s ELEVATE Mentoring program for women business owners in Switzerland and Germany.
• Webinar on Global Supplier Diversity (January 24): I collaborated with the US Supplier Diversity & Inclusion expert Lisa Westgate to discuss transforming U.S.-centric supplier diversity programs into global initiatives, highlighting the essentials for success. A Webinar hosted by ISM – Institute of Supply Management New Jersey.

I would like to express my sincerest thanks to everyone who worked with me and supported me in 2024. Your commitment and partnership have been invaluable to the continued development and success of Supplier Diversity and Inclusion in Europe.
