WEConnect Europe & MENA Summit, Madrid, 17-18 November 2025
So many powerful reflections have already been shared about the Madrid WEConnect Europe & MENA Summit, and rightly so. For me, it was a truly uplifting conference that once again showed how strong and committed this community is.
A decade of change
Ten years ago, I was still sitting on the WEConnect advisory board, representing corporates and looking at supplier inclusion from that side of the table. Five years later, I found myself on the other side, having founded my own company, being a WBE myself and representing Swiss WBEs on the WBE Council. A shift that has shaped both my work and my perspective on what true inclusion means.
Gratitude and connections
Over these past ten years, so many great things have been possible: projects, collaborations, and opportunities that would not have happened without this network. Even more importantly, I have met incredible people along the way, some of whom have become real friends and trusted allies on this journey.

Why inclusion still matters
Yes, we are facing challenges like never before, from geopolitical uncertainty to fragile supply chains. Yet precisely because of this, inclusion in the supply chain is more important than ever. It is still the right thing to do, and the value it brings to companies in terms of innovation, resilience, and performance is evident.
So thank you, WEConnect International, for another great summit in Madrid, for bringing together the people who still want to make a difference, and for standing strong for women-owned businesses across Europe and MENA.
And thanks to my colleagues who show up for these events and support inclusive sourcing, reminding us that sustainable, inclusive business is a shared responsibility in practice, not just a slogan.
